There are several types of visas: transit, short-term, long-term, as well as individual and group. Each visa has its own characteristics and conditions for obtaining the right. Our team is ready to take on all the difficulties in the selection and process of obtaining any Cypriot visa!

What are the types of entry visas to Cyprus?

  • Airport transit visa

This type of visa allows you to stay in Cyprus during your international relocation, provided that you do not actually visit the Republic itself. This permit is required for all citizens traveling in Cyprus with the exception of holders of EU passports and residence permits in the European Union, EU Member States, USA, Canada, Andorra, Japan, San Marino or Monaco.

  • Transit visa

This permit is required when crossing Cyprus by land. A transit visa is issued for a single trip of no more than 5 days. Permits can sometimes involve multiple transit. To be eligible for this type of visa, your entry must be guaranteed and the normal route requires crossing the Cyprus border.

  • Group visa

This permit is issued for a group of 5 to 50 people and is valid for up to 30 days. In order to obtain a group visa, it is important to make sure that the entire delegation will enter and leave the territory of Cyprus in the same composition. The responsible person must have a passport and a valid visa.

  • Short stay visa to Cyprus

This permit is issued to those who visit the republic without an immigration purpose. A short-term visa allows you to stay in Cyprus for up to 90 days. This visa is suitable for both single and multiple visits to Cyprus during the designated period.

  • Tourist visa

This type of visa allows you to visit Cyprus one or more times for a maximum of 90 days within 6 months.

  • Multiple visa

This type of visa is valid for 1 year and allows you to visit the Republic several times, provided that the total travel period does not exceed 90 days in every 6 months. A multiple entry visa is suitable for those planning to do business in Cyprus or pursuing other purposes that require frequent travel there.
The cost of a multiple entry visa to Cyprus depends on the urgency of obtaining. Also, the agent will have to pay from 60 to 150 euros. The processing time for a multiple entry visa to Cyprus is from 10 to 15 working days.

  • Schengen visa

Cyprus is not yet part of the Schengen area. However, Schengen visa holders do not need to obtain a Cyprus national visa. If you have already been to the Schengen area and your permit has not yet expired, you can visit the Republic of Cyprus at the remaining time.

  • Long Term Visa

A long-term visa for Cyprus is issued for non-EU citizens who wish to enter Cyprus for a long period (more than 90 days). Long-term visas are divided into:

  1. Cyprus work visas.
  2. Study visas for Cyprus.

To stay in Cyprus legally for more than 90 days, all foreign nationals must obtain a residence permit issued by the Minister of the Interior of Cyprus and recommended by the Immigration Control Board.

To be eligible for a residence permit / visa, you must fall under one of the permitted immigration categories.
