Bulgaria Publishes Law Providing Reduced VAT Rate for Beer and Wine, Tourist Services, and Sports Facilities

On 11 August 2020, Bulgaria published in the Official Gazette the law providing for the expansion of the scope of the reduced 9% VAT rate to beer and wine, tourist services, and sports facilities. As previously reported, this applies from 1 August 2020 to 31 December 2021.
